LEADERSHIP CAMPAIGN

THE CHALLENGE

Honda are a global vehicle manufacturer and household name. With the up-coming closure of their Swindon plant the challenge faced was ensuring managers engage with their re-developed Leadership Development Programme.

There was an opportunity to re-energise the initiative and achieve greater engagement and take-up.

OUR APPROACH

Having identified the target audience and the level of email and meetings based communications that each manager was currently receiving (a lot) we designed a two part campaign. 

Part one involved creating a brand for the training initiative which would help the campaign achieve cut-through.

 

Secondly we created a straightforward individual message delivered to every managers workspace or desk. By delivering the message (literally) to them in person the cut through was dramatic in a crowded environment. 

RESULTS

The Leadership Development Team were delighted with the results and deployed the branding on all their training materials and notifications. The desk drop campaign was well received and constituted a radical departure from normal communications within the plant.

Pilot programmes have been instigated and the response has been overwhelmingly positive with significant levels of positive feedback received.
