THE CHALLENGE

Safety, quality and the environment are inextricably linked when you are dealing with industrial gasses around the globe. safety is at the heart of it. Our challenge was to create a programme to communicate the behaviours valued by the business that will ensure safety, quality and the environment are always in front of mind.

OUR APPROACH

We worked with the senior team to develop values that they identified as being central to the success of the business over the first 15 years. 

 

We translated those values into the behaviours that would deliver that culture if everyone in the business demonstrated them in practice.

We created a branding and unique identifier (logo and strapline) for the programme along with a Communications Plan to roll out. The plan included: An intranet portal, launch collateral (posters, floor barkers, desk drop concertina leaflets, emails, briefings and a road-show of training workshops for senior managers and supervisors.

The first launch was in 2014 and since then multiple refresher campaigns and updates have kept the programme front and centre in the minds of everyone in the business across 12 countries around the world with annual reviews and refreshers.

RESULTS

The programme has consistently been described as the most effective communication campaign in the company's history. Subsequent campaigns have built on the success of the initial launch and today the programme is central to every aspect of the life of the business. 

 

We have ensured that the communications cycle is refreshed and engaging and covers every touchpoint from acquisition, induction, manager training, business performance evaluations through to individual performance measures.
