HONDA LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME

THE CHALLENGE

Building a suite of powerful learning opportunities for the 400 strong leadership cohort at Honda Manufacturing UK. In the lead up to major change the challenge for leadership was to develop modern leadership skills, techniques and approaches. 

This was the first major leadership training initiative to have been developed and designed by an external agency.

OUR APPROACH

We researched and created a suite of learning modules based on a training needs analysis undertaken by the Honda team. Modules were created to deliver the following leadership skills:

  • Feedback and recognition

  • Team communication

  • Micro coaching

  • Difficult conversations

  • Leading and motivating through change

​

Each module was designed to be delivered by Honda's in house Learning and development Team.

RESULTS

We produced high quality trainer materials for each of the modules; Trainer Notes, module delivery plan, handouts, PowerPoint slide deck and worksheets. All the materials and collateral was presented in Honda livery and branded with the Sustainable Leadership unique identifier.

We received feedback that these were the most impressive and effective materials ever used within Honda UK and the workshops received universal acclaim by leaders at all levels in the business.
